Tutoring Reflection

Today my 3rd period class went to help Mrs. Hines' special ed class. I was very excited to go to their class and tutor them because I've never really experienced being around a special kid. I was also nervous though, because I didn't really know what to do. I'm already shy and awkward in general and I never know what to say, so when it was time to help them, I didn't really know what to say to them.

I really liked helping them though. They were all so sweet and adorable. I giggled a few times because they would do something cute like the one girl erased the day on the board and the rest of the class started saying her name in a joking way and she went to write the day down. I would like to go back and help them again. It was a really life changing experience for me and when I grow up, I think I want to either have a job that has to do with taking care of babies or helping out special kids. I would like to go volunteer somewhere to help out special kids like I see on tv and I just really like helping in general.

Ad

This is a girl who is fit but doesn't have a very skinny butt. The claim in this ad is that it's okay to have a big butt and it can be useful. The audience targeted for this ad are women who might be insecure about their butts and also for men. The ethos is that it's okay not to be skinny and the pathos is that not being skinny can have its pros. The logo is Nike-just do it.

Blog post #6

It's a new year now and everyone has made their New Year's Resolution. My New Year's Resolution/second semester goals is to eat healthier and try harder in my classes. I need to pay more attention in some of my classes and study more because I ind of failed to do that last semester. I only studies and paid attention a little bit, but I want to get everything I am being taught unlike last semester. I need to work harder in Math and Biology and kind of Spanish. I think I'm doing pretty well in my other classes. I just have a hard time in those subjects so I kind of give up easily. I have to eat healthier because I admit I've been eating a lot of junk, but I've been starting to eat more fruits and vegetables. I also need to exercise outside of school more because I think PE is really nothing because it's just for like half an hour of exercise. I also need to hang out with my friends more and get over my laziness. Usually I just want to eat and sleep and too lazy to get ready to hang out with my friends, but I need to make more of my high school years instead of just sleeping in my spare time. I also need to stop procrastinating and starting on my homework after an hour of school so that I can just do whatever I want for the rest of the day. I usually save my homework until the night, but I don't want to do that anymore. I also need to sleep earlier because I've been sleeping late lately and then I get so tired the next day in my classes and I practically fall asleep, and having a first period isn't really helping that. Hopefully I get to accomplish most of my goals and keep them unlike the other goals I've made in the past.
