Stream of consciousness poem
She loves winter and she loves how it gets cold and you just have to wear layers you don't have to do much unlike summer where you can't really do anything to get cold but winter is her favorite season and she loves the way it feels being under layers and layers of blankets and wearing warm hoodies and fuzzy socks and she likes christmas and getting presents for her friends and families and making them happy she loves the way christmas makes her family close and on christmas eve, everyone is talking, playing games, and having fun she loves the way she sees everyone in her family that she doesn't see a lot and winter is just a wonderful season and she wishes that winter stays forever.
Elegy
He left when she was two
She grew up without a father figure
She lost a friend
A playmate
Half of her
She was left with a mother
Who did everything for her
Her mom was her superwoman
She knows how hard it is
Taking care of two kids on your own
She worked so hard to keep a roof on their heads
and food in their mouths
Working two jobs
Double shifts so they can buy necessities
People ask her about her father
She doesn't know what to respond
So she whispers "he left"
It's been seven years
and now he wants in...
After all this time
Why now?
She wonders
He left like nothing
He found a new family
She just didn't get it
Why didn't he leave?
She just wanted an explanation
Were they not good enough for him?
And now he wants to be in her life again
But it's too late
Because in her eyes, he's dead
Ode to Laptop
Always
waiting for me
when I come
home
Letting me
talk to people
online
Always there
for me when
I need it
Never letting
me get bored
I can't live
without it
Making me laugh
like there is
no tomorrow
while watching videos
It's bottom burns
like the sun
And smooth
like a baby's butt
waiting for me
when I come
home
Letting me
talk to people
online
Always there
for me when
I need it
Never letting
me get bored
I can't live
without it
Making me laugh
like there is
no tomorrow
while watching videos
It's bottom burns
like the sun
And smooth
like a baby's butt
Ballad
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
She thought she actually had a chance
He was the apple of her eye
The light of her life
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
Whenever she was alone
She could only think about him
She could feel his hands holding hers
She could taste his sweet lips pressed against hers
She could see his flaws and all
But that didn't matter
She could hear him saying her name softly
Giving her chills down her spine
And last but not least
She could smell him
That sweet smell of his
But then she woke up
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
Did she really think that she could get him?
Now she has a broken heart
But if she didn't get her hopes so high
She wouldn't be in this position
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
She thought she actually had a chance
He was the apple of her eye
The light of her life
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
Whenever she was alone
She could only think about him
She could feel his hands holding hers
She could taste his sweet lips pressed against hers
She could see his flaws and all
But that didn't matter
She could hear him saying her name softly
Giving her chills down her spine
And last but not least
She could smell him
That sweet smell of his
But then she woke up
Oh, how can she be so foolish?
Did she really think that she could get him?
Now she has a broken heart
But if she didn't get her hopes so high
She wouldn't be in this position
Oh, how can she be so foolish?

Limerick
There once was a boy named Mark
He loved going to the park
He had a dog named Lucky
Whose favorite toy was a rubber ducky
He also had a funny bark
He loved going to the park
He had a dog named Lucky
Whose favorite toy was a rubber ducky
He also had a funny bark

Free Verse
I didn't intend on it
It wasn't my fault
I just wanted to live life
To go with the flow
Little did I know
I fell instantly for him
Why didn’t I see the signs
It was right in front of me
Yet I can't find the courage
The courage to tell
That the person he’s been wanting to know
Is actually him...
Do you speak up readily when you hear something you disagree with, or do you prefer to listen to all sides and either remain quiet or speak up only if the conversation is going in a direction that you can't live with?
I prefer to listen to all sides and remain quiet .Do you prefer to give directions and make decisions without a lot of input from others? Or do you prefer a more collaborative approach?
I prefer a more collaborative approach. Are you comfortable sharing power? Or do you prefer relationships where there is a hierarchical power structure in place?
I am comfortable sharing power.

I think the Special Ed kids we helped bake were really adorable and fun, but I don't think that mixing special ed students and general education students in the same classroom. I think this because Special Ed kids need a lot of attention and support. General Education student don't need as much support and attention. If both students were mixed then it will be a hassle and it will be hard to teach. Some Special Ed students need more attention than other Special Ed students and need a one on one teacher so mixing the students will need more teachers in one class. I think that helping to tutor them like our class did once a week is just as good. This way, the General Education students can get to know the special ed students like we did and I think it was a really good experience. If all the Special Ed students were all together in one classroom they can all help each other since some are slower than others and I saw that in Mrs. Hines class. Everyone in that class were joking around with each other and helping each other out.
